Local Cook Required – Garowe, Somalia

The Cook will be responsible for providing daily cooking/refreshments services.  The candidate should be able to cook a variety of local and basic international dishes while ensuring proper hygiene and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner, and refreshments as required.
• Plan and prepare meals according to the approved menu.
• Purchase or assist in purchasing food supplies when required.
• Ensure food is prepared in a hygienic and safe manner.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, cooking equipment, and dining area.
• Store food items properly and monitor stock levels.
• Minimize food wastage and use supplies efficiently.
• Follow health and safety guidelines at all times.
• Support office or guest house meal arrangements during meetings and events.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
