Human Resource Manager – Hargeisa, Somaliland
Job Description
Human resources manager’s main responsibility is to attract, support and retain company employees.
Human resource manager also supervise a company’s hiring process, from recruiting, interviewing, and hiring new staff. They help connect executive and other management team with employees, build an employer brand, improve employee engagement, and build strategic talent resources plans.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the day-to-day planning and execution of the high-level strategies of the HR department.
- Consistently recruiting excellent staff for the Company
- Oversee, reviews and manage staff benefits and compensation,
- Maintaining smooth employee orientation and on boarding process
- Manage training, counseling, coaching and employee development initiatives
- Conducting and keeping track of employee performance and wages review
- Developing clear policies, ensuring policy awareness, managing and improving employee communications
- Manage employee to adopt company culture
- Maintaining and reporting on healthy, inclusive and safe work environment
- Maintaining employee workplace privacy and safety compliance
- Handling workplace investigations, conflicts, disciplinary actions, and termination procedures.
- Resolving conflicts through positive and professional mediation.
- Carrying out necessary administrative duties.
- Creating clear and concise reports.
- Giving helpful and engaging presentations to employees.
- Working closely with other various units and departments
- Reports directly to Administration and Finance director
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Management, human resources management or equivalent.
Experience in human resources or related field.
Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues.
Experience in educating and coaching staff.
Experience in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations.
Experience in following and maintaining workplace privacy.
Ability to give presentations.
Knowledge of relevant health and safety laws.
Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
