PART 1 – INTRODUCTION

HIDIG Relief and Development Organization (HRDO) invites reputable and qualified service providers to submit competitive bids for the provision of vehicle hire services in Beledweyne, Hiraan Region. This initiative is part of HIDIG’s humanitarian health intervention, aiming to improve access to essential primary health care among vulnerable populations in under-served areas.

📌 Purpose of the Tender

The purpose of this tender is to contract two types of vehicles to support field operations under the project:

  • 🚐 Vehicle hire to support the movement and logistical operations of Mobile Health Teams across target locations in Beledweyne District.
  • 🚑 Ambulance services to facilitate emergency referrals from remote communities to health centers and main referral hospitals.

This transportation service ensures that patients referred from mobile outreach activities receive timely and comprehensive care.

PART 2 – SCOPE OF SERVICES

HIDIG seeks the rental of the following:

  • 🚌 One14-Seater Nissan Vans for Mobile Health Teams
  • 🚑 One Ambulance Vehicles equipped for emergency medical referrals

All vehicles must be:

  • Fully insured
  • Roadworthy and in good mechanical condition
  • Operated by qualified drivers with valid licenses
  • Equipped with basic safety tools (e.g. fire extinguisher, spare tire, first aid kit)
  • Based and operational in Beledweyne throughout the contract period

 

PART 4 – AWARD CRITERIA

Bids will be assessed using the following weighted criteria:
