2. OBJECTIVES OF THE ORGANIZATION

Rapid and effective humanitarian response to emergency situations and to ensure sustainable livelihoods support to boost – crises transition areas in the country through the provision of direct service delivery, technical assistance/consultation, field-based research/dissemination, and indigenous community empowerment through capacity building initiatives.

3. REPORTING

The service provider/supplier and or the contractor shall report to the concerned logistics Unit/Project Manager and Operation manager of Action Against Disasters Somalia based on field, regional and or head office.

4. TIMING AND DURATION

The companies score against the selection criteria will ONLY be communicated and requested each assignment RFQ and each assignment will have a duration that will be communicated with the concerned unit. The detailed Terms of Reference (TOR) for the assignment can be provided upon submission of RFQ (in person or by e-mail (procurement@aadsom.org ).

AADSOM now invites the eligible logistic suppliers to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested suppliers should provide information demonstrating that they have:

1. The required qualifications and relevant experience support documents.
2. The capacity to perform the Services-brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions in the past.
3. Availability of appropriate skills among staff.
4. Evidential support documents of zonal operation throughout Somalia.
5. Valid registration both federal and regional levels.
