PART 1 – INTRODUCTION

HIDIG Relief and Development Organization (HRDO) invites qualified and reputable freight service providers to submit quotations for the air transportation of medical commodities, supplies, and equipment to Beledweyne, Somalia. The service will cover approximately 20% of the total project supplies to be transported by flight, ensuring timely and safe delivery to HIDIG’s warehouse in Beledweyne.

PART 2 – SCOPE OF SERVICE

The successful bidder will be responsible for transporting 20% of the total medical commodities by air freight to HIDIG’s warehouse in Beledweyne, Somalia.
Bidders are required to provide separate freight rates (per Kg) for each of the three categories listed below.

Notes:

  • Final shipment weights will be provided to the winning bidder before dispatch.
  • Freight cost must be inclusive of handling, customs clearance, loading/unloading, and insurance.
  • Deliveries must be made directly to HIDIG’s Beledweyne warehouse within the agreed timeline.
PART 3 – BIDDER REQUIREMENTS

Bidders must submit:

  1. Valid business registration and tax compliance certificate.
  2. Company profile with proven track record in air freight / logistics of medical commodities.
  3. References of at least two similar contracts completed within the last three years.
  4. Detailed freight cost breakdown as per Part 2.
  5. Estimated delivery schedule from point of origin to Beledweyne.

  3. Provide proposed delivery schedule (days from contract signing).

Attach a completed freight cost table from Part 2 with:

  • Unit Price (USD)
  • Total Price (USD)
  • Currency: US Dollars
    The freight quotation must be signed and stamped.

  • Beletweyne Office Address: Area Shanta Dabakayo, Hilac, Howlwadaag, Beledweyne, Hiraan Region, Hirshabelle State Somalia.
  • Mogadishu Office Address: Hodan District, Teleex Street, behind Fatxi Restaurant.
  • Upon arrival, request the Procurement Unit to log your documents in the official Bids Register and obtain a submission receipt.
  • Ensure your bid is sealed in an envelope clearly marked with the tender reference number.
  • Late submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances.
