PART 1 – INTRODUCTION

HIDIG Relief and Development Organization (HRDO) invites eligible and reputable construction and civil works companies to submit bids for minor rehabilitation and Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) improvement works at supported health facilities under the project titled: “Provision of Essential Lifesaving Primary Health Services to Vulnerable Communities in Under-Served and Hard-to-Reach Areas” in Beledweyne, Hiraan Region.

📌 Purpose of the Tender

The aim is to improve physical infrastructure and IPC readiness in HIDIG-supported health facilities. This will ensure a safer, more accessible, and hygienic environment for patients and health workers, enhancing the continuity and quality of essential healthcare services for vulnerable populations.

PART 2 – Scope of Work

The selected contractor shall carry out the following tasks in accordance with agreed timelines and quality standards:

The rehabilitation and IPC improvement works will be carried out in the following health facilities supported under the Beledweyne District intervention:

Section 2 – Capability & Sustainability

Bidders are required to provide the following information to demonstrate their technical capacity to perform the works:

1. List of at least two (2) similar construction or rehabilitation projects completed in the past three years.

• Project description and location
• Dates of implementation

2. Company profile including relevant experience in civil works, health facility rehabilitation, or IPC-related construction.

3. Valid business license for civil and/or general construction works issued by the appropriate authority in Somalia.

4. Proposed work schedule / timeline for completing the full scope of work (maximum 30 calendar days after contract signing).

5. Staff list including names and qualifications of key technical personnel (e.g., construction supervisor, civil engineer, plumber)
