| PART 1 – INTRODUCTION |
HIDIG Relief and Development Organization (HRDO) invites eligible and reputable pharmaceutical and medical supply companies to submit bids for the supply and delivery of essential drugs, laboratory supplies, and basic medical equipment to support its health operations in Beledweyne under the project titled: “Provision of Essential Lifesaving Primary Health Services to Vulnerable Communities in Under-Served and Hard-to-Reach Areas.”
| 📌 Purpose of the Tender |
The purpose of this procurement is to ensure timely availability of safe, effective, and quality-assured medical supplies to strengthen health service delivery in targeted facilities. The selected supplier will be required to deliver items that meet international standards in terms of packaging, labeling, expiration dates, and storage conditions.
| PART 2 – SCOPE OF SUPPLY |
Bidders are expected to submit quotations for the complete list of essential drugs, laboratory supplies, and basic medical equipment in accordance with the specifications provided in the attached Bill of Quantities (BoQ).
| PART 3 – SUPPLY COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS |
The following requirements are mandatory and will be verified during evaluation:
- All drugs must have a minimum of 24 months remaining shelf life upon delivery.
- Bidders must declare country of origin and manufacturer for each product.
- All packaging must be intact, sealed, and labeled in English (generic and dosage).
- Cold chain items must be delivered with temperature control logs.
- Expired or damaged goods will be rejected at delivery point.
- HIDIG reserves the right to inspect supplies prior to acceptance.
