The post holder is responsible for supporting and maintaining the computer networks and applications, providing technical support and ensuring the computer systems across the Group runs smoothly and efficiently. The position provides exposure to a broad range of IT-related projects and activities.

–          Diagnose and resolve technical issues

–          Provide desktop and telephony support

–          Setting up and configuring new laptops and desktops

–          Install authorized software to laptops and desktops

–          Reporting faults and maintaining logs on servers, desktops and laptops

–          Completing internal user moves including phones

–          Patching of network and phones

–          Ensure all logs for equipment and users are maintained

–          Setting up new users and disabling expired accounts in accordance with HR                    requirements

–          Providing support for MAC and PC

–          Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports

–          Prepare diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system               to support support the roll-out of new applications

–          Undertake small to medium-sized IT projects as instructed by the Group IT                     Manager

–          Perform basic administrative support duties as required to meet specific                       operational objectives.

–          Ability to ensure adequate technical and organizational safeguards to protect               the continuity of IT infrastructure services

–          The ability to identify and satisfy the needs of internal and external customers,              displaying commitment to meeting and exceeding their expectations
