Lifeline Gedo (LLG) is national non-governmental humanitarian organization dedicated towards ensuring that local communities in Somalia are resilient and able to cope with perennial shocks that threaten their livelihoods year in year out. LLG engages in long-term development work, responds to emergency situations, and seeks to address the root causes of poverty.

| For increasing access to Health and Nutrition, Lifeline Gedo works in urban and remote villages in Gedo region through the provision of health and Nutrition services that include treatment of SAM, MAM, essential maternal and child health services in partnership funded by GFFO. | |
| Job Summary:

In collaboration with the Clinical Officer the Qualified nurse will ensure quality EPHs services are provided to beneficiaries at the assigned locations in Elwak, Somalia district. The successful candidate will be expected to work full time on every week, spending the whole day at facility.Assistants work in a science laboratory collaborating with clinical officer to perform experiments. They’re typically responsible for collecting and preparing various testing samples using different types of lab equipment. she/he will be in charge of managing and organization all of the lab’s records and other documents. Lab Assistants stay updated on lab policies, safety regulations and other procedures to keep all lab employees and experiments safe and compliant.
he/she will be working with the laboratory employees to conduct tests and experiments. The Lab Assistants will then take these results, analyse them and provide this information to their management team. He/she also complete basic laboratory tasks, like labelling samples, cleaning the lab rooms and sterilizing equipment. |

ü Prepare lab equipment for upcoming research experimentsü Report data and compile information into graphs and documents
ü Clean and maintain lab equipment ü Use testing items and subjects to gather results ü Gather data and information from test subjects ü Monitor ongoing tests and experiments, noting any differences |
| Qualifications Essential
|
All applicants should be the resident of Elwak Somalia.ü 3 years of experience as a Lab Assistant
ü MA degree in Medical Technology, Biology, or similar relevant field ü at least one years of experience with automated laboratory equipment ü Computer literacy ü At least one years of experience with Laboratory Information Systems ü Attention to detail ü Strong analytical skills ü Critical thinker ü Great communication skills ü Current license or relevant certification |
