Marketing Manager – Garowe, Puntland, Somalia

Job Title:  Marketing Manager

Location: Garowe, Puntland

Reports: Puntland Group Managing Director

Key Responsibilities

1. Planning, promoting and improving Dahabshiil Group Puntland image and putting the existing visibility infrastructure in effective use
2. Initiating, planning, and designing and implementing group level advertisement and promotional activities and working closely with local media
3. Managing, promoting, and overseeing Digital and social media Marketing Strategy and Content Marketing
4. Holding public engagement meetings intended for branding, product awareness and corporate social responsibility. Maintaining excellent relationship with the community
5. Building Brand awareness and Positioning.
6. Designing and conducting quarterly market study and ensuring necessary actions are taken based on the analysis of the study
7. Designing and implementing customer satisfaction gauging platform and feedback mechanisms and ensure that satisfaction index is consistently improved
8. Assisting group entities in product development based on market and customer insights
9. Developing a comprehensive marketing strategy in line with Dahabshiil Group Corporate Vision and strategy

• Developing and implementing detailed annual marketing action plan and budgets
• Creating and publishing marketing materials in line with the marketing plan
• Acting as Dahabshiil Group PR in public gatherings such as Trade shows and Major events

13. Designing and introducing customer loyalty programs and ensuring the benefit realization of the incentives
14. Assisting the PL Group Managing Director in unifying marketing and communication philosophy and messages across Dahabshiil Group entities

Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications

1. A Master/Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Management.
2. Progressive 3-4 years of experience in Marketing & Management
3. Proven Marketing campaign Experience.
4. Language proficiency in both written and oral English and Arabic is required.
5. Excellent computer skills especially Word, Excel and Power Point.
6. Excellent interpersonal, Communication and Public Speaking Skills.
7. Ability to conduct press conferences and briefings.
8. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
