Indhadeero Group Of Companies, it was started by the chairman Abdi Awad Ali in 1960. It started as a General Trading and Money Transfer Company. The first company who started the money transfer business in our region and involved up to 1990. Since 1960 our major focus has been General Trading company mainly commodities like import of the Rice, sugar, Wheat Flour, etc like cement and Livestock Export to the Arabian Gulf States.

Position Title: Marketing Officer

Location: Hargeisa, Somaliland

Type: Full-time

Vacancies: 5 Positions

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the marketing manager in overseeing the department’s operations
Organize and attend marketing activities or events to raise brand awareness
Plan advertising and promotional campaigns for products or services on a variety of media (social, print etc.)
Prepare content for the publication of marketing material and oversee distribution
Conduct market research to identify opportunities for promotion and growth
Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, and attending trade shows and conferences.
Contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs and to explain how specific products and services can meet these needs.
Help customers select products based on the customers’ needs, product/Service specifications, and regulations.
Answer customers’ questions about prices, availability, and product uses.
Receive requests by telephone, or e-mail for price quotations/verifications, purchase orders, government bids, and changes or cancellations directly from customers.
Respond immediately to customer inquiries/information needs and provides positive, courteous service to customers; answers questions regarding products and services, prices, customer service and credit/financing arrangements.
Utilizes Customer Service to send product Information, price catalogs, references and other data to customer as required.
Prepare order configurations and price quotations; completes government bid requests and reviews with Marketing/Sales Manager prior to submission to agency; write letters to provide information to customer inquiries
Work with the Credit Department to establish new accounts.
Assists customer in preparing and processing credit/financing arrangements paperwork.
Submits sales activity and forecast reports to Marketing/Sales Manager; provides briefings to Marketing/Sales Manager as necessary or as requested.
Performs any other duties as assigned.
