Title: Project Coordinator-Multi-area-DRSLPII – open to Somali nationals only Save the Children is the world’s leading independent organisation for children. We work in 120 countries. Role Dimensions: Save the Children operates across all zones in Somalia and currently has three main area offices and additional 11 field offices. Programmatically Somalia is a large Country Office with more than $110million annual budget and staff over 650 staff. ROLE PURPOSE: To contribute to Save the Children’s capacity to meet its Drought Resilience and Sustainable Livelihoods Program (DRSLP). The National Project Coordinator is overall responsible for the day to day implementation of DRSLP program implementation. The National Project Coordinator will work closely with the Project Director, Area management and support staff (including finance, HR, Supplies Chain and program) to ensure the day-to-day activities are implemented according to schedule, budget and required quality. The National Project Coordinator reports directly to the Project Director. The National Project Coordinator will assist the Project Director in outlining a strategic plan for the implementation of this program including identifying target areas/projects, methods of operation for effective programming and maximum results
