JOB OPPORTUNITY

Position: NFI project officer

No of Vacancies: 2 Positions

Duration: 6 months

Location: Hudun, Sool Region

Background

Juba Foundation is a local Somali organization working on humanitarian field in Somalia since 2004 and has its Head office in Mogadishu with sub offices and operational hubs in southwest, Hirshabelle, Puntland, Galmudug and Jubaland states

Juba Foundation is hiring 2 NFI field officers for SHF funded project who will be based in Hudun district of Sool region

Duties & Responsibilities

Support project Coordination and implementation of Shelter/NFI activities in Hudun district and villages
Responsible for NFI activities
Responsible for verification of beneficiaries lists and targets
Responsible for distribution of NFIs
Prepare NFI data and information
Monitor NFI activities against the planned indicators detailed in the project Logical Framework
Assist project coordinator prepare reports

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor degree with project management skills
Minimum of 2 years of field humanitarian experience
Computer and Internet knowledge
Good team work and leadership skills
Standard writing and oral communication Skills in English and Somali
