Position: NFIs & Shelter Project Coordinator

No of Vacancies: One Position

Duration: 6 months

Location: Jowhar, Middle Shabelle

Juba Foundation is a local Somali organization working on humanitarian field in Somalia since 2004 and has its Head office in Mogadishu with sub offices and operational hubs in southwest, Hirshabelle and Jubaland states

Duties & Responsibilities

• The overall management of NFIs & Shelter Project in Jowhar and villages
• Ensure that the activities result are implemented in accordance with the project agreement
• Monitor activities, project staff performance, procurement of goods and services for the project
• Ensure implementation and monitor project activities against the planned indicators detailed in the project Logical Framework
• Conduct field visits as required to verify project activities relatively to stated targets
• Prepare project reports according to timelines set
• Maintain Project Documents
• Facilitate on job project staff training
• Attend cluster and coordination meeting

Qualifications and Skills

• University degree with project planning and management skills
• Minimum of 2 years of field experience
• Computer and Internet literacy
• Good team work and leadership skills
• Standard writing and oral communication Skills in English and Somali
