• Reporting: Program supervisor
• Duration: 12 Months

Job Purpose/Objective

• The nutrition Register will properly record the measurement acutely/moderates malnourished He/She are expected to provide high standard of promoting optimum nutrition for the preventing malnutrition and Working under the guidance and supervision of the Nutrition Officer will be directly responsible for the day to day implementation of the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct quality anthropometric measures at the OTP sites on the referral beneficiaries following the initial screening exercise while ensuring efficient and effective workflow.
• Work with the outreach teams to develop and maintain a referral system at community level.
• Engage CHW in referring malnourished children and pregnant and lactating women special attention to the basic health units.
• Assisting community in identification and referral of acute malnutrition,
• Ensures that nutritional protocol is strictly followed in terms of admission and discharge criteria.
• Properly fill in the registration books and monitoring cards of each beneficiary with personal and anthropometric data,
• Assisting the OTP Nurse to compile weekly and monthly statistic reports,
• Assisting in monitoring the nutrition situation in areas of work, including participating in nutrition assessments and surveillance as required,
• Performing any other responsibilities deemed appropriate by the OTP Nurse

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Essential:

• At list High School Certificate/ Diploma in health.
• Two Year Experience in nutrition program and community work.
• Experience in training of volunteers on SAM program.
• Good relations with other people.
• Good capacity to work in a team and flexibility.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Good writing and presentation skills
• Strong report writing and team working skills
