Job Purpose/Objective

The Nutrition Supervisor will supervise nutrition fixed sites and mobile teams to provide treatment for actual severe malnutrition. He/She are expected to provide high standard of promoting optimum nutrition for the preventing malnutrition and Working under the guidance and supervision of the Nutrition Officer will be directly responsible for the day to day implementation of the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing and Planning of Fixed Sites and Mobile that working the Nutrition
• Provide supervision of the nutrition program implementation in the field, Organize and coordinate the team’s work plans
• Conduct nutrition and health education sessions in the community and liaising with nutrition staff and community members to monitor activities in Project Operational areas.
• Identify Staff training for the programs and advise the sensational adjustments needed for the effective program delivery.
• Working the community participants in all nutrition program activities with use the program guideless.
• Ensure Supplies needed program under his/her supervision are properly Manage whiles producing good consumption plan.
• Follow up in OTP where possible while undertaking perioral meeting with CHW for defaults tracing and improved service utilization rates.
• Participates in joint primary health care planning in collaboration with other NGO and MOH in Galmudug local health authorizes.
• Supervisor and Monitoring of nutrition activities and program activities all sites and mobile teams.
• Patriciates all meeting and clusters that involve the program in field level.
• Prepare Weekly report for all program and share his/her supervisor.
• Assist in the development of training materials and modules.
• Performing any other responsibilities deemed appropriate by the Line Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Essential:

• Bachelor Public Health or nutrition with minimum Three years working experience with NGOs.
• Experience in nutrition program and community work.
• Experience in training of volunteers on SAM program.
• Good relations with other people.
• Good capacity to work in a team and flexibility.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Good writing and presentation skills
• English fluency (verbal and written) required and local language (preferred)
• Strong report writing and team working skills
