Operation Manager – Mogadishu, Somalia

1. Purpose of the position

The operation manager will be responsible in improving performance. Procuring material and resource and securing .compliance practice across the organization of the Badbaado Legal and consultancy center (BLCC). SHE/HE performs the policy setting in implementing right processes and strategy role in organization functions.

Operation manager is required to build a culture that is based on professionalism; Respect and integrity to ensure a free conducive working environment. To acknowledge the responsibilities of BLCC and support general managers to make evidence-based decision. They build a career structure. For the civil service that is free from nepotism and patronage and that is. Seen to be based on merit

The employee is required to perform the following duties and responsibility and undertake the following responsibility in a professional manner.

• Ensure all operations are carried on an appropriate. cost effective way
• Improve operation management system. processes and best practices
• Purchase materials. Plan inventory and oversees warehouse efficiency
• Help organization processes remain legally complaint
• Formulate strategies operational objectives and examine financial data and use them to improve profitability
• Manage budgets and forecast
• Recruit train and supervise staff
• Finds ways to increase quality of costumer services
• Specialized legal aid services and implementing the organization policies . strategies and programs related to Administration and its implementation
• Provide informed. Evidence based advice to the BLCC
• Deliver high quality. Innovative. Value added policies and services.
• Exercise sound judgment and risk management practices in decision making.
• Drive effective. Efficient and appropriate use of public resource
• Develop a workforce and leadership practices that build a constructive culture with
• Focus on performance. capability building and personal accountability and nurturing of leadership potential,
• Maximize competitive Advantage of a diverse and inclusive workout
• Create collaboration build quality partnership
• Partner with all sectors to optimize departmental performance

• other duties assigned by the top management

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor degree in business administration or associated with a related area of study such as management or accounting.
• Master’s degree in business or human resource management is desirable
• Sound human resource management skills.- essential
• Sound leadership and organizational development skills. – essential
• Computer literacy and familiarity with accounting software packages.- essential
• The position requires at least 3 years’ experience obtained by working in the area of operations or business in a public sector department or institution at a senior level.

• Must be a computer literacy
