Operations Coordinator/Risk Analyst – Mogadishu, Somalia

Contractor, GW Security Services Middle East and Africa.

Mogadishu, Somalia

Rotation

6 weeks in 6 weeks off rotation, however rotations may be increased/reduced for operational reasons

Start Date

02 Dec 2022- Subject to successful onboarding

Services

Services provided by the Contractor shall be those typically expected for someone in the Position and include, but not be limited to the provision of protection services to ensure the safety and security of all client staff and other personnel who come under duty of care of EUDEL, Somalia. Services the Contractor can expect to carry out, would include:

Management of Operations Room and staff
Delivering briefings as and when required to clients and GardaWorld staff
Writing of the GardaWorld templated intelligence products as applicable
Attending coordination meetings with all security partners within the Embassy and other GardaWorld projects and RMT staff
Liaison with other security agencies within Somalia
Managing the daily journey management for the project
Record keeping of all data in accordance with GardaWorld and Embassy guidelines
In tandem with the ISM – maintain auditable records and files for GardaWorld accreditation purposes
Any other reasonable duties as described by the ISM
Any other direction or reasonable request given by appropriate GardaWorld Management team in accordance with GW Standard Operating Procedures and Guidelines.

Skills and Qualifications

Must hold an EU passport
Demonstrable previous experience as an Operations Coordinator
Previous experience deployed in a hostile environment
Previous experience managing international and local staff
Previous experience delivering operational briefings to senior clients
Knowledge of journey management procedures
Knowledge of crisis response procedures would be an advantage
Minimum 10 years military or law enforcement experience is expected
Previously deployed as a risk analyst in a hostile environment
Previous experience producing time sensitive analytical reports to an exacting standard in both written and verbal forms
Must be able to efficiently interrogate information systems and report findings in both written and verbal forms
Must have experience compiling country threat reports
Must have experience performing site security and vulnerability studies
