Overview of position Our client is looking to hire an experienced Task Manager.
Role objectives
  • Management of the assignment to track status of respective planned, initiated, ongoing and completed assessments.
  • Development of the assessment programmes to be completed during the assignment and provision of weekly update to the SHF.
  • Coordinating the review of assessment findings, partner feedback and signing of final narrative reports.
  • Organise and lead opening, briefing and closing meetings with the SHF and partner officials related ongoing or completed assessments.
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of the overall quality control and risk mitigation programmes of the assignment.
  • Assist in the resolution of technical issues and interpretation of contractual matters.
Project reporting Reporting to the Project Manager
Key competencies
  • Master’s Degree in a finance related field with a minimum of seven years’ experience in conducting capacity/micro assessments or financial audits.
  • Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) or Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) certification is required.
  • Pervious experience in Somalia or similar complex emergency coordinating capacity/micro assessments or financial audits assignments.
  • Strong planning, communication and analytical competencies required.
  • Speaks and writes English fluently.
