1. Background

The Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA) is seeking qualified suppliers to procure and deliver food assistance packages to vulnerable households in Hirshabelle State, distributed in three cycles. The supplier will handle procurement, quality assurance, packaging, transportation, and coordination with SoDMA for distribution and reporting.

2. Background of the Project

This initiative is part of the, implemented by SoDMA in partnership with African Risk Capacity Ltd (ARC Ltd). It follows a drought-triggered payout under ARC’s parametric insurance system for the 2024/2025 Deyr Season. The project aims to provide early emergency food assistance to vulnerable households in Hirshabelle State as part of Somalia’s ARC Risk Pool 11B response.

3. How to Apply 

Submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) by 12 September 2025 at 12:00 PM (Mogadishu Time).
