Description of the	Community   Development   and   Humanitarian   Network
organization	(CoDHNet) is a humanitarian and Relief organization founded in
	Somalia  in  2013.  CoDHNet  envisions  promoting  a  peaceful
	society  that  can  facilitate  social  economic  activities  and  co-
	existence free from poverty and conflict-committed and united
	towards the reconstruction and development of communities.
	CoDHNet  mission  is  to  promote  peace  and  sustainable
	development among (agro) Pastoralist and urban communities in
	Horn of Africa to achieve human rights, humanitarian services
	through provision and equitable socio-economic empowerment
	that promote justice and advocacy.
	CoDHNet targets vulnerable beneficiaries both in urban and rural
	areas  on  life-saving  activities  through  emergency  response,
	recovery, livelihoods, and developmental activities. With regards
	to  the  absence  of  the  socio-economic  infrastructure  and  the
	systems of governance and institutions which led to the collapse
	of livelihoods and all the basic services of many communities. The
	organization also focuses on to contribute to the realization of
	lasting peace and human development in Somalia communities
	and border countries with efficient and effective responses to
	natural and manmade disasters among the communities.
	In partnership with Somali Humanitarian Fund (SHF), CoDHNet
	is implementing livelihood program, titled ‘Support immediate
	food security to the drought affected host community and IDPs in
	Baardheere District of Gedo Region of Somalia.

The Programme department  is  responsible  for  ensuring  development  and implementation of humanitarian and developmental programmes in line with CoDHNet’s strategic plan.

Purpose:

Local competitive Bidding (LCB) for Support immediate food security to the drought affected host community and IDPs in Baardheere District of Gedo Region of Somalia – SOM- 21/3485/RA2/FSC/NGO/19917.

ToR

The Terms of Reference and Scope of Services shall include but not be limited to the details specified herein:

1. Assign only clean and comfortable car with valid log book/agreement for ownership, and Registration documents.

2. Provision of Car Hire services to CoDHNet staff as and when required within Baardheera District.

3. Provision of Car Hire services promptly as and when required during the contract period.

4. Assign only clean (road worthy, sober and well-behaved driver with valid driving license and Certificate of Good Conduct or equivalent clearance documents)

Sealed LCB are invited under bid system for hiring of vehicle on monthly basis to Community Development and Humanitarian Network (CoDHNet) at Baardheera District of Gedo Region.

CoDHNet is looking for qualify supplier for provision of vehicle for rental services. Interested, eligible and qualify supplier requested to submit their bit latest on 30/8/2021 to  procument@codhnet.or.ke. Late bids will not be considered. Please note: Only those contractors selected for further consideration will be contacted.

Due to the urgency of the works, CoDHNet has the right to hire a contractor who matches the required vehicle before the above deadline.
