WARDI in partnership with ACF is implementing a project named “Anticipatory Action and Recovery Support to Food Insecure Communities in Hirshabelle State of Somalia”

The project has three components:

• Pastoralist drought assistance and recovery:
• Agro-pastoralist drought assistance and recovery:
• Riverine agriculturalist drought assistance and recovery

WARDI is seeking a qualified and committed individual to join the WARDI team as a Program manager for implementation of SCRP program in Bulaburte/Beletweyne,Hiraan region for project implementation, monitoring and supervision.

Under the guidance and direct supervision of the programs director, the program manager will responsible for efficient and effective implementation of the project in the project location.

Main responsibilities towards this project includes but not limited to:

• Responsible for project delivery, especially: Oversees the completion and submission of project deliverables.
• Manages internal communications and reporting, such as KPIs and narrative project updates.
• Oversee program management and administration throughout the project’s duration.
• Ensure that implementation is completed on time, on budget, and with effective monitoring and evaluation systems.
• Ensure that program implementation is responsive to communities and partners, and that it is in accordance with WARDI’s relevant program guidelines, principles, values, quality standards, and strategic plan.
• Liaise with procurement, logistics, and security.
• Build team capacity, gain a better understanding of staff roles, and help with career development.
• Provide information, tools, and resources to team members to help them improve their performance and achieve their goals.
• Promote employee accountability by communicating expectations and providing constructive feedback.
• Establish and maintain a mutually respectful work environment in which team members strive for excellence.
• Ensure compliance with WARDI’s regulations.
• Maintain systems to ensure effective and transparent use of financial resources for timely and informative reporting in line with contract needs.
• Represent WARDI at federal, state-level, and other relevant events.
• Assist with the development and implementation of the project monitoring and evaluation plan, as well as the timely submission of reports and other document requirements.
• Travel to the project locations.
