What will you do?
Support the Cooperating Partners (CP) for effective implementation of different project activities including providing orientation on reporting guidelines and tools;
Review and process CP’s report and invoices and ensure data provided are accurate and timely;
Generate Food Release Note (FRN) and ensure it correspond with COMET data on monthly basis;
Assist in coordinating the dispatches with the logistic team for timely delivery to partners;
Assist in SCOPE related activities like data verification, enrolment, and distribution list creation;
Maintain effective database management by establishing a proper and efficient filing system;
Participate in field monitoring activity to ensure proper implementation of programme deliveries;
Coordinate with other teams to ensure that all programme services are being performed efficiently;
Perform other related duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Completion of secondary school education.
Experience: At least three years of working experience in food security, Nutrition, data collection, analysis, and reporting. A certified university degree in areas of public in the areas of social sciences, development studies, agriculture, nutrition, economics, or statistics.
Successfully completed an 8-month internship programme with WFP Somalia.Knowledge & Skills:
Knowledge of Programme work in Nutrition, Relief, M&E and VAM, IDP/refugee operations or Programme related functions.
Experience utilizing computers including word processing, spreadsheet, and other standard software packages.
