Initial Contract Details: 1st of March, 2023, 1 year with possibility of extension.
Reporting to: Director
Al Ta’awun Social Society (TSS), is a non-governmental and nonprofit organization, free from political, clans, religion and ethnic divisions, works for needy communities including youth, women children in urban and rural areas throughout Puntland Somalia.
TSS strives to create a future where youth are able to facilitate their own development.
Ta’awun Social Service (TSS) offers humanitarian and social development programmes to poor communities in Puntland.

Ta’awun Social Service (TSS) is inspired by the vision of a strong, vibrant society in which a culture of accountability is firmly entrenched and the rights of every citizen are respected and protected while in turn, citizens acknowledge their responsibilities and Endeavour to fulfill these as expected.
Mission
Ta’awun Social Service (TSS) to strengthen the capacity of Somali Communities in all sectors, Educational development, environmental rehabilitation, health facilities development and social mobilization towards campaigns, particularly for poor families and marginalized communities, in order to give those equal opportunities in education and health care.
The goal of TSS is to initiate programs and activities that will positively involve, influence and benefits of the general society for a better society now, and in the future,
Therefore TSS seeking qualified person who can able to manage area office.
Skills and Qualifications
Skills and Qualifications
* University degree in political science, international development, Social work, social sciences, development studies, business management, Project management etc.). or related field, Master’s degree is an added advantage
* Minimum of 5 years of Professionalism
* Computer training in accounting software and MS Word, Excel, etc.
* Training in human resources management and development.
* High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
* Analytical, report writing and communication skills.
* Effective communications and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to understand and speak English is a requirement.
* Competencies
* PROFESSIONALISM: Knowledge of science-based solutions to reverse the loss of biodiversity while restoring ecosystems and their services. Ability to generate and communicate clearly links between the Organization’s strategy and the Subprogramme goals. Ability to analyze and interpret data in support of decision-making and convey resulting information to management. Shows pride in work and in achievements. Demonstrates professional competence and mastery of subject matter. Is conscientious and efficient in meeting commitments, observing deadlines and achieving results. Is motivated by professional rather than personal concerns. Shows persistence when faced with difficult problems or challenges; remains calm in stressful situations.
Experience with UN system, governmental or non-governmental institutions implementing projects/programmes addressing nature and biodiversity loss is desirable, strategic planning and programming
TSS will provide Accommodations Residence permit, living allowances, Tickets and 1 month leave .
