Project Manager- Laundry & Drycleaning Services – Somalia

We are currently looking for a Project Manager- Laundry & Drycleaning Services to be based in Somalia. The project Manager should possess as a minimum a Bachelor’s degree (equivalent) in Project Management or Hospitality Management and Have a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience (e.g. managing laundry and dry-cleaning services, hotel management, and camp management services.

The selected candidate must be able:

The PM is responsible for the efficient and effective administration of the delivery of services to our clients. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Manage and coordinate the execution of all activities under the Contract to ensure that the contracted functions are performed efficiently, effectively, and in accordance with the client’s scope of requirement and underlying standards.

Manage and execute Task Orders

Provide efficient liaison functions and establish efficient lines of communication with client representatives.

Be responsible for the administration, and discipline of all Project employees assigned to the contract.

Make a continuing analysis of all project operations whilst identifying opportunities for improvement, including cost-saving opportunities for RA and our client.

Participate in performance evaluation meetings

The Project Manager must be fluent in English, both in spoken and written form.

The applicant will oversee that all equipment is in functional condition and that services and repairs are executed as required.

The applicant will maintain all materials related to the contract, keeping tight control of inventory and forecasting additional stock.

Shall be responsible for collecting housekeeping, clothes, and garments (e.g. bed sheets, towels, etc.) in accordance with established schedule receptacles at designated collection points.

Shall be responsible for ensuring delivery of housekeeping, clothes, and garments and delivering clean,

washed, neatly ironed, and folded items to designated receiving areas.

Responsible for regular ordering to maintain inventory

Ascertain client’s needs and inform management of the same.

Prepare monthly reporting

Conduct HSE inspections, reporting, and training in Hospitality related services

Required Skills:

Planning, organization, implementation.

FM or Hospitality background.

Communication at all levels, verbal, written, and electronic media.

Reporting, administrative and data analysis.

Ability to prepare formal reporting.

Knowledge of Laundry services and or dry cleaning.
