CONSULTANCY OBJECTIVE
NRC develops a range of communication products on regular basis and is seeking professional firms/individuals that will provide a range of services including professional graphic design, printing, photography and videography.
The main objective is of the consultancy is to therefore to:
- Lot 1: Produce high quality, interactive and well-layed out communications products (i.e reports, studies, brochures, etc) that can be uploaded online; and print out high quality communication products.
- Lot 2: Produce media and communication materials such us high resolution photos and videos for NRC Somalia to be used in different communication platforms.
Skills and Qualifications
The consultant, firm or individual, is expected to meet the following minimum requirements.
- Minimum of four (4) years’ documented experience in the area of graphic design, and working with humanitarian organisations.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in photography and recording similar projects with portfolio provided upon request.
- Exceptional photography and videography skills.
- Excellent photo and video editing skills.
- Excellent written and verbal in Somali & English languages.
- Experiencing working in remote areas.
- Previous experience of producing programme related and quality documentaries for international organizations with the aim of reaching both local and international audiences.
- Experience in working with UN agencies and other international organizations.
- Local Knowledge of Somalia and specific states, particularly relating to the humanitarian sector.
- Excellent technical capacities (state of art filming equipment, ideally including drone) to ensure smooth and high-quality production.
- Additional experience in development communication will be an added advantage.
- Track record of successful similar projects undertaken that are relevant to the requirements of this consultancy. Experience in working on communication products for international organisations.
Note: Individual/ Company portfolio and links to previous works should be inserted in the application package. The company should also specify whether it would like to be considered for Lot 1: Graphic design and printing or Lot 2: Photography and videography or both.
Limitations of Scope
- The consultant is not authorized to speak on behalf of NRC unless expressly authorized by NRC in writing.
- NRC shall have full ownership of the product and the design following completion.

Consultant/firm that meet the requirements mentioned above are invited to submit detail technical (experience, samples of previous work, recommendations etc) and generic financial proposals on or before 30th August, 2022 and should be addressed to SO Procurement so.procurement@nrc.no referencing the specific LOT they are applying in the subject of the email.
