Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research is looking for qualified lecturers/Professors specializing in Water Resources Management who will deliver the semester two modules/courses described below for the Master of Science in Integrated Water Resources Management at the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research:

1. GIS and Remote Sensing Applications for Water Resources

2. Groundwater Assessment and Development

3. Water Resources Economics and Financing

4. Water Resources Planning

5. Climate Change and Adaptation for Integrated Water Resources

Qualifications

The lecturer/Professor should have a Ph.D. Degree in Integrated Water Resources/ GIS and Remote Sensing Applications for Water Resources, Geophysics, Water Economics and Financing, Water Resources Planning, Water Governance, Water and Ecosystems, Climate Change and Adaptation, and other related fields with teaching experience of the module they are applying for and demonstrate an ability to teach the course in question.

Requirements:

The candidate Professors/Lecture are invited to apply if they meet the following criteria and requirements

1. Minimum a Ph.D. holder with 2 years of teaching experience on the subject matter

2. Have a record of scientific Publications in the field of water, environment and related field.

3. Applicants for a particular course must demonstrate satisfactory competence to teach the subject matter of the course, including evidence of satisfactory teaching evaluations.

4. Excellent communication and presentation skills, including computer skills and modelling analysis.

5. The strength of the applicant’s background in light of the course(s) applied for.

6. Teaching experience of the applicant that is related to the particular course.

7. The strength of the applicant’s teaching record in particular subject.
