Job Title: Recycling Engineer

Job Location: Mogadishu

Reports to: Program Manager

JOB PURPOSE: Briefly describe the overall purpose or function of the job

The Recycling Engineer will be responsible to ensure that engineering design in plastic Recycling is compliant with requirements and all relevant national and international rules and regulations.

The Senior Electric Engineer will also assist in the undertaking of training and preparation of curriculum of skill trainings in entire electric. The Recycling Engineer will facilitate training sessions to beneficiaries in needed.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: In a series of brief statements describe the principal

accountabilities of the job, i.e. specify activities and end results.

· Developing, reviewing, updating, modifying, and approving PLASTIC Recycling design plans and work schedules.

· Establishing relationships with clients, vendors, suppliers, other professionals, and expanding networks.

· Analyzing existing processes and scheduling meetings to discuss improvement initiatives.

· Assisting with recruitment, training, and onboarding.

· Ensuring a safe, positive work environment.

· Participating in conferences, events, and networking and learning opportunities.

Skills and Qualifications

JOB HOLDER ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: In a series of brief statements identify the essential

knowledge, skills and behaviors required.

Knowledge (Education & Related Experience):

· University Degree in relevant field (Mechanical Engineer, or related field).

· Minimum of 2 years working experience in this field, well acknowledged in Plastic Recycling, having experience of working with government partners.

· Experience on all aspects of project management.

Skills (Special Training or Competence):

· Report writing.

· Problem solving.

· Analytical.

· Social mobilization.

· Knowledge of database management and good command over MS Office.

· Good understanding to work with project budgets, forecasts and reports.

· Good communication skills (both oral and written).

· Proficient in both verbal and written English.

Employment Type: Fixed Term (6 Months)
