SOMALI HUMANITARIAN RELIEF ACTION (SHRA) – GEDO (LUUQ OFFICE)

TENDER ADVERTISEMENT NOTICE YEAR 2021.

Somali Humanitarian Relief Action (SHRA) is National Non-governmental Organization that works for the attainment and full realization of people’s basic rights focusing on participation and partnerships thus contributing to the relief of human suffering by offering appropriate solutions to the humanitarian catastrophe in Somalia. SHRA became active in Gedo Region in the year 1993. SHRA has an established offices in Luuq and Dollow districts, Gedo Region, Jubbaland state in Somalia.

SHRA Somalia’s country strategy 2020-2024 covers areas including: Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Livelihood, Gender Based Violence (GBV) and Protection and Return Monitoring (PRMN).

SHRA is inviting interested suppliers to fill the Tender for the Supply in Luuq as listed below.

Eligibility Instructions /Summary of Required documents

This initiative for BID is open to Companies with experience in providing Food and operating in Somalia in Luuq Gedo region.
The bidder shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt, fraudulent and coercive practices.
Bibber shall not be involved in criminal act/ activities or associated with individuals and / or entities associated with criminal activities.
Detailed Company profile that includes a capability statement and an organogram.
Proof payment of tax and tax compliance from Federal government and federal member state and local authorities.
Valid Registration certificate from relevant ministries from Jubbaland Regional state and Federal government of Somalia and Relevant local authorities in Gedo Region.
Copies of Certificate of Registration / Incorporation/Licenses.
List three corporate clients (attach documentary evidence which may include copies of LPOs issued/Delivery notes/duly authorized client testimonial in the last 2 years.

Bidder’s should ensure that the Food to be Supplied has the net weight kgs for the purposes of Emergency food basket distribution to affected Communities.

The quality of food should be as specified in the RFQ.
Expired food items or food items whose expiry date is due will be rejected
The supplier should provide sealed food parcels at the distribution site in time.

The Tender documents clearly indicating the Terms & Conditions, Date and Time of tender submission of the above Tender references are attached and can be downloaded for filling. Hand written quotations to be submitted online to tendershrasomalia@gmail.com or can be dropped in SHRA Tender Box in Luuq office in a sealed envelope addressed to “The Logistics Department, Somali Humanitarian Relief Action(SHRA) Airstrip Area, Luuq District, Gedo region” clearly indicating the tender reference number by 21^st December 2021 5.00 PM.
