Sales Officer – Job Specification

Samsung Somaliland ideal Sales Officer should be equipped with relevant sales qualification and background in sales functions such as electronic devices sales, inter-personal communication and market knowledge. Sales Officer should withstand pressures of handling varied tasks at the same time and meeting sales target to ensure success as a sales individual in our company.

Position Title: Sales Officer

Department: Sales and Customer Care

Location: Samsung Wajale

Education Qualification and Training Requirement:

• A degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field
• Holding sales training courses is a plus

Expectation:

• Competitive sales officer who will hunt customers and attract them

Experience:

• Well experienced in sales or a relevant business role

Work-based Skills, Knowledge and Characteristics:

1. Follow up with current customers and provide their needs

2. Answer customer’s questions accurately and advise on appropriate purchase options

3. Promote specific products as directed by upper management

4. Update customers of current promotions and discounts

6. Maintain positive business and customer relationships
7. Develop strategies for more effective sales, both individually and as part of a team
8. Analyzing competitor’s products to determine other product’s features, benefits, and market pricing
9. Time management, patience, punctuality, good teamwork and interpersonal skills

Job Requirements:

• Ability to research new sales opportunities and sell company’s products
• Executing sales strategies and serve as customer service agent
• Persistence and determination to reach the monthly target

Other attributes:

• Experience in Wajale market
• Motivated, driven and have a great personal attitude
• Working hours: from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm – Saturday to Thursday
