After decades of relying on imported milk and raw milk, Laas Group took the lead in the dairy industry in Somaliland. This decision was inspired by the “produce & consume local” trend that most African countries are turning to.

Four years later, in 2017, we launched Somaliland’s first locally produced UHT milk brand, Lis Dairies. Lis – is a Somali word for milking. Lis milk undergoes thorough testing for  products health and safety against international standards. We specialize in UHT dairy products to accommodate consumers need for a longer shelf life while offering superior quality for an affordable price. Our products are specially formulated to add value to each consumer dairy experience. Our portfolio includes a range of products and flavors for all categories of dairy consumers in Somaliland.
