CUSTOMER CARE AND SALES REPRESENTATIVES (3 Positions)

Position title: Customer care and Sales Representative (3 position)

Contract Type: Full-Time Employee

Duty Station: SAMSUNG SOMALILAND, HARGEISA.

We are looking to employ sales-driven and customer-facing Customer Care and Sales representatives who can sell company products and services to customer using convenient persuasion and can maintain positive business relationships to ensure future sales.

The customer care and Sales representative’s responsibilities include welcoming customers to the brandshop and answer their queries, explaining products’ features to the Brandshop visiting customers, following up customer orders and delivery deadlines, working on the customer satisfaction an and listening their feedback carefully. The customer care and sales representative should also be able to continually identify new sales opportunities through customer referrals.

SALES REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Welcome customers to the brandshop and answer their queries
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
  • Assess customers’ needs and provide assistance and information on product features
  • Promote sales of city furniture products and services and spread products
  • Maximize company sales growth and profitability through the use of creative selling skills, teamwork and customer service, in order to deliver an engaged experience to every customer, every time
  • Actively listen to and engage customers, using appropriate selling skills to match the customer’s needs, and ensure their decisions build long-term relationships.
  • Keep customer well informed about orders and any status changes; update notes on customer sales to keep sales associates informed, remaining attentive to customer needs.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers, as well as prospect for new customers. Communicate company loyalty services, when applicable.
  • Develop, share and apply product expertise by staying informed with the marketplace and industry trends.
  • Maintain sales floor coverage and follow posted schedules with regard to area assignments.
  • Sales with ensuring Samsung electronics product and displays are maintained per the sales floor maintenance guidelines.
  • Maintain flexibility with schedule to meet the needs of the team and overall business.
  • Support and model excellent service by exhibiting a positive attitude and enthusiasm toward the job and company to both internal and external customers in all forms of communication.
  • Communicate customer feedback to the sales supervisor concerning policies and/or product requests, problems and suggestions.
  • Actively participate in sales meetings and training sessions.

 

HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICER (1 POSITION)

The HR Officer will be part of team that implements talent management and development interventions, key HR initiatives and the HR strategy to ensure that the frameworks are appropriate for and relevant. The HR officer gathers HR information, exchange and consults with all colleagues stationed in offices across the country for enhanced, relevant and contextualized human resources management, S/he provides professional guidance and counsel to colleagues in the company about HR best practice in coordination with the General Manager and Deputy CEO.

The HR officer retains a primary focus on diversity and ensures these reflected and promoted in all aspects of the work.

Specific Duties:

  • Leads the implementation of the company recruitment frameworks, methodologies, workflows and policies that attract and secure high performance talent.
  • Coordinates the recruitment of Somali based positions, coordinates and participates in the interviewing process.
  • Develop strong cooperation with managers to understand their strategic staffing needs and fill vacancies in a timely manner with high caliber candidate.
  • Drafts staff contracts and consultancy contract in discussion with General Manager and Deputy CEO.
  • Collaborate and cooperate with the finance team providing accurate information for payroll
  • Serves as focal point for all personnel related issues in the company
  • Coordinates successful employee onboarding and set up for the Somali team, ensuring the timely provision for services.
  • Oversees duty of care, employee wellbeing and the implementation of safety and security policies for the staff.

OPERATIONS OFFICER (1 POSITION)

Operations Officer is someone responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the operations for the organization.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The Operations Officer is responsible for coordinating business activities in the company concerning pricing, sales, and product dissemination. Related activities are marketing, direct sales, projects, organizational operations, and customer service.
  • The Operations Officer holds responsible for managing administrative activities related to product creation/distribution, providing services, and other organizational operations within the company.
  • The Operations Officer is responsible for preparing work schedules intended for staff and employees as well as assigning certain duties and tasks.
  • The Operations Officer will be the one to check product prices in the market and feedback to Management for necessary actions to be taken in order to be competitive.
  • The Operations Officer shall monitor and keep track of dealer records – have detailed list of all customers classified based on their volume of business to the company.
  • The Operations Officer should supervise the flow of products into and from the warehouse. This is essential in order to ensure the effectiveness and sustainability of the entire operations in the company’s sell-in and sellout of products.
  • The Operations Officer is liable for executing sales work which includes assisting customers in a friendlier manner, restocking dealer stores and checking on inventory levels with the logistics team in order to report to the GM.
  • He or she should execute different functions in relation to employee training, evaluation, and conducting other training programs in liaison with the GM.
  • The Operations Officer is responsible for planning or managing different activities such as developing marketing plans, directing sales, customer service, and effective strategies. Moreover, this should be in coordination with the GM.
  • Part of the Operations Officer’s responsibilities is to implement product-marketing strategies. Such activities include advertising campaigns, sales promotion, marketing plans, and other related activities.
  • The Operations Officer holds responsible for recommending locations needed for new business as well as remodeling current and existing establishments.

CANDIDATES REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Operations Management, Marketing, or related field is preferred.
  • Proven sales experience of at least 3 years.
  • Computer literacy (Ms. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong analytical, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and consultative sales skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Decent and friendly personality and passion for serving customers.
  • Good command of English Language, Arabic and Somali Language.

Customer Service Skills: The customer is always right. You will need to be able speak in a friendly way to customers and potential customers, listening to their needs and helping communicate options for them.

Communication Skills: You will need to speak to customers about a product’s different features, and answer any questions they might have.

Flexibility: You might have to work long hours, nights or weekends.

Persistence: Not every customer is going to be a sale. Being able to bounce back if you lose a sale will be key for this job.
