Senior Banking Officer (Two Positions) Internal/External – Jigjiga
Purpose of the Job
To enhance the level of customer satisfaction and retention of existing customers through providing comprehensive support to branch offices.
Main Duties and responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of administrative and operational service delivery plans and programs to optimize service excellence and the customer experience in the branch.
- Assist in the preparation of the Branch’s activity plan and KPI
- Communicate with other branches to ensure coordination and consistency, create selling and cross-selling opportunities, and assist in answering questions and resolving issues.
- Make sure the availability of necessary support resources when required by the branch.
- Coach and mentor subordinates towards effective support and customer service.
- Evaluate the periodic performance of each branch under his/her domain and report to the operation manager.
- Manage disciplinary concerns of supervised staff.
General Responsibilities

- To undertake such other duties as may be reasonably expected.

Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance, Economics, the management or other Business related fields.
- 4 years of banking experience
- Full professional qualifications are desirable
- Must be confident, self-starter, an independent thinker and have strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills; team-oriented.
