Marwa fertility center is looking for qualified candidate to fill the vacant position of qualified midwife in Marwa fertility center.

Overall job responsibilities:

The goal is to provide comprehensive advice, care and support to women and their babies during pregnancy, labour and early postnatal period.

Essential Duties and responsibilities:

• Examining and monitoring pregnant women.
• ANC and PNC consultation following Marwa Fertility’ standard operation procedures.
• Identify high risk pregnancies and make referrals to doctors and other medical specialists.
• Assessing care requirements and writing care plans for mother and her baby
• Supervise and assist mothers in labour, monitoring the condition of the fetus and applying knowledge of drugs and pain management
• Provide medical care and treatment to obstetrical patients, deliver babies, and instruct patients in prenatal and postnatal health practice.
• Providing information, emotional support and reassurance to women and their partners.
• monitoring and administering medication, injections and intravenous infusions during labour
• Advising about and supporting parents in the daily care of their newborn babies.
• On request perform any duty as directed by the supervisor.
