Senior Risk Officer (3 Positions) – Somalia & Somaliland

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·    Examining data market trends, reports, and other pertinent documentation is examined.

·    Gathering and analyzing data and information on the organization.

·    Examining the rules and procedures in place for risk management.

·    Observing and assessing internal operations.

·    Assessing risk levels and their ramifications

·    Develop risk management controls and systems

·    Evaluate existing policies and procedures to find weaknesses

·    Presenting and preparing reports and proposals on risk assessment.

·    Liaise with Portfolio Management, Product Development, and other relevant teams in regard to all risk related issues.

·    Drives accountability by using risk management tools, processes, methods stress testing to ensure that the business meets its risk requirements.

·    Undertake periodic visits to all branches across the region and address crucial risk issues.

·    Generates business unit level Key Risk Indicator (“KRi”) risk dashboard reporting and actively monitors breaches.

EXPERIENCE

QUALIFICATION

& KEY SKILLS

·    Certification as a Professional Risk Manager (PRM) may be advantageous.

·    Risk management, financial analysis, and related software expertise.

·    Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

·  Excellent communication and organizing abilities.

·    Ability to effectively handle private, sensitive, and confidential information.
