Invitation to Bid

Candlelight with support from Oxfam is implementing Rehabilitation of two shallow wells ( Waylesidke in Sanaag and Basbasa in Sool) installation two farm irrigation systems (Yooco and Ceel liiban in Sool) , construction of irrigation channels and rehabilitation of reservoir (Hareed in Sanaag).

Candlelight is launching an open local Tender and invites interested contractors to tender of the following:-

Bidding will be conducted through open tender procedure.

5. Please note that the bid prices shall be quoted in USD only
6. The proposal and offers will be selected based on price, in conformance to quality requirements and delivery timelines
7. All bids must sealed and stamped with and envelop.
8. All bids, in English language only, must be hand delivered to the office address mentioned below by 31th August, 2021, 2:00 pm, in a sealed envelope with the tender reference and company name written on the envelope. Late bids will be rejected without exception. Applicants with questions regarding this tender should be sent in writing via the address below by 30^th August, 2021, 2:00pm.
9. Tenders will be opened at the address mentioned below at the time stated in the tender dossier. Tenders or their authorized representative can be present at the opening session of tenders
10. The tender documents/ dossier will be available and can be collected from Candlelight Headquarter in Hargeisa, office from 23^th August 2021 to 30^th August, 2021 between 7:30 am – 2:00 pm EAT
11. The deadline for return and submission of bid documents will be 31th^t August 2021 at 2:00 PM at the same address

• Proof of company registration in Somaliland & registration in different regions if any.
• Proof of financial strength (bank statement, financial reports, Tax clearance etc.)
• Bank(s) statement
• A copy of the audited financial statements for last two years (balance sheet and income statement).
• Detailed activity schedule (timeline) for the proposed works
• Completed ‘Suppliers Relevant Experience.
• Warranty for the machines/solar
