Scope of Work

The Software Developer work involves verifying and deploying programs and systems aimed to be implemented within the bank’s functional programs and throughout the software development life cycle.

The Software Developer will be a key member of a growing team responsible for the design, development, maintenance, and implementation of dynamic software applications. The Software Developer will participate in the full software development process and participate in activities such as gathering requirements and participating in team meetings reviewing design and development. The Software Developer must possess strong problem-solving skills with the ability to take initiative.

Job Specifications

The Bank is seeking an experienced Software / App Developer (.Net C#) ASP.NET, JAVA, Mobile app development tools on both android and IOS, Oracle PLSQL, and T-SQL.

Requirements for the Software Developer include the following:

Over 2 years’ experience with Microsoft .Net, C#, ASP.NET, JAVA, Swift, Xamarin, flutter, oracle PLSQL, T-SQL
Strong Verbal and Written Communication skills

Degree: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering

Professional Certificates: MCPD, MCSD, CSSLP, or Certified Software Development Professional.

Principal Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities

Work closely with the FINTECH Manager to ensure smooth operation of all bank, department and Management strategy matters
Proven experience Software / App Developer (.Net C#) ASP.NET, JAVA, Mobile app development tools on both android and IOS, Oracle PLSQL, and T-SQL.
Producing clean, efficient code based on specifications
Testing and deploying programs and systems
Fixing and improving existing software
Work with FINTECH developers on the bank system designs needs
Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications
Integrate software components and third-party programs
Verify and deploy programs and systems
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software
Improve Internal Bank systems i.e. systems that gather and evaluate user/customer feedback
Recommend and execute improvements
Create technical documentation for reference and reporting
Monitor compliance with applicable codes, practices, performance standards and specifications
Communicate with FINTECH on a regular basis to ensure that agreed Departmental plans are implemented in accordance with the Bank’s Objectives and strategy.
Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, and personnel’s performance) and report regularly to the FINTECH Manager
Follow up on the implementation of assigned tasks and achievement of set goals.
Any other duties that may be deemed appropriate to this role

Period of Performance

The role of the Software Developer Contract will be for approximately 1 year on a full-time basis. His/her contract is eligible for possible extension.

Qualification
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or a relevant field
Professional Certificates: MCPD, MCSD, CSSLP, or Certified Software Development Professional.
Proven over 2 years’ experience in Microsoft .Net, C#, ASP.NET, JAVA, Swift, Xamarin, flutter, oracle PLSQL, T-SQL
Proven experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer or similar role
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
Experience with software design and development
Knowledge of coding languages (e.g. C++, Java, JavaScript) and frameworks/systems
Experience with databases and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks
Ability to learn new languages and technologies
Excellent communication skills
Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude
